.NET Framework 4.0 (Web Installer) can be downloaded from Microsoft website here. It is important that the user installing this has administrator rights on the server or clients machine in which this is being installed on.
Installation Steps
- Click Download from the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) page.
- The May we also suggest page displays, select NO THANKS AND CONTINUE.
- Select Save to save the setup exe.
Ensure you are logged on as a user who has administrator rights.
- Run the setup exe from the saved location.
- Click the check box next to I have read and accept the license terms. Then click Install.
- Installation Progress Window displays.
- Once the installation is complete, an installation complete window displays. Click Finish and please restart your computer.
